Sunrayce (Solar Car)

Northwestern University has a solar car team. We build a solar car to compete in the American Solar Challenge. If possible, meaning if budget allows, we'll also send the car to other competitions. Meetings are once a week.

The ASC takes place every two years. NU competed in July of 2001. I was not a college student back then, so my chance to see NU's performance will be Summer 2003.

Since I'm on the electrical team, I try to learn about the power systems components: solar array, batteries, monitoring, and motor.
