Projects: Research solar cells

After deciding on the new battery pack, I needed to attempt to find newer solar cells. While the lead-acids were heavy but free, the Lithium-ions yielded significantly better paper results for less than ten thousand dollars. However, space-grade solar cells will cost possibly twenty thousand dollars more than the current Silicon cells. Power will increase by fifty percent, but the cost may be too high for the team.
