Projects: Light alarm

I took the basic electronics class during winter of 2003. The first project was to build a light-activated buzzer. I used an opamp and a BJT to turn on the buzzer when there is light. This project was pretty simple, so nothing much to say about it. Soldering actually took longer than designing. Some lessons I learned from this are to use sockets and to fix the battery on the board. Also, I should have mounted the board.
