Projects: Balsa miniature bridge

The goal is to make the strongest bridge using only balsa and wood glue. No metal and no double bonding, meaning glueing two pieces of wood side by side. This was in 9th grade, so I did not know how to do force calculations. In my opinion, this project did not contribute any knowledge, because the students just built whatever seemed strongest. The bridge is about a foot long.
